Melinda H.
Melinda H. is a 57- year-old woman who flew in from Tennessee to have Dr. Lehman assess and treat her scoliosis that resulted in a very debilitating spinal deformity. She had adult idiopathic scoliosis and was unable to perform normal activities of daily living, and taking care of her grandchildren became to burdensome because of her pain.
After being treated with various pain management techniques, she elected to undergo posterior spinal fusion to correct her deformity improve her pain. She recovered quickly after her surgery, was able to stand erect, and has returned to leading a normal life.
