Jackie N.

Jackie N. was a very active 71-year-old gentleman who exercised six days a week until his spinal stenosis (pressure on the nerves) became so bad that he was unable to walk more than a few blocks. Unfortunately, he did not improve after months of therapy, medications, activity modification and injections.

After a lengthy discussion with Dr. Lehman, he desired to proceed with a surgery to decompress (take the pressure off of the nerves) and fusion (to stabilize with screws and rods) his degenerated spine.  After approximately 4 months, he was able to return to full activities, and was able to return to turkey hunting the following spring.
